The First Years

We are a family company that took his first steps, in the sector of hotel management, 47 years ago with the opening of a small restaurant called "La Pañoleta"" in the old number 4 of Isaac Peral street. A humble business where their main products were the wedge clams, asparagus and artichokes with mayonnaise, dogfish with tomato and sardines.

Although the beginnings were very hard. The perseverence and the illusion to always offer the best products had their results and, little by little, our small restaurant was extended with the acquisition of the adjacent parcels.

In 1988 the moment arrived for giving the great jump. We acquire the property of the adjacent lands, where was the old boardinghouse "La Española", and we began to take ours first steps in the hotel accommodation sector.

We left the Hotel´s architectonic design in the hands of the celebrated Professor of Architecture at the University of Seville and friend of the family D. Rafael Manzano Martos (see curriculum) who wanted maintain the spirit of old home and the architectonic reminiscences of the old boardinghouse... uniting it the functionality, comfort and technological innovations of the modern times.
